Being sustainable includes looking ‘inside’ Xindao – is our company well organized from an employees perspective? We aim to retain our employees and provide them with an even better working environment.

By providing good employee benefits, improving learning possibilities and being a stable, responsible and inclusive employer we want our employees to grow. They are encouraged to share their opinions and ideas on sustainability in the workplace and we are more committed than ever to include all employees actively in contributing to our CSR goals.

CULTURE

The Xindao company Culture is informal, open and positive minded. We encourage interaction between departments and employees. To make this easier most internal office walls are made of glass so you can see who is in the office and feel part of the group. With more remote working and digital contacts instead of face-to-face, Xindao is working on developing this without losing our feeling of connection.

Accessibility of Board and management is very high, no need to make appointments, you can walk in and share your thoughts!

VITALITY

We take care of the health and wellbeing of our employees. We offer Periodic medical examinations every four years on a voluntary basis. We also encourage employees to participate in sporting events. In the past Xindao has joined business runs in The Netherlands supporting various charities such as support for handicapped children and planting trees.

LEARNING
AT XINDAO

Learning is valuable for both employee and employer. We offer internships to international students and we have recognized training positions in several departments in our Dutch Office. There is a training budget for all employees and we have launched en eLearning platform to increase digital learning.
Employees can follow training on general company information and values, such as ethics and office safety, but also position specific training. Our end-of-year evaluations also gives our HR department insight into wishes and requirements for learning. Digital tools for working outside the office have been improved since we had to adapt to COVID-19 reality.

Our second Employee Satisfaction Survey was conducted in 2021, we are proud that this resulted in improved scores in all areas, such as management, commitment, employership and leadership, even in difficult times during COVID-19.
